The MAC is action packed with bouts from bell to bell.  In the main event a fueled rematch between Kenyan James Onyango and Ugandan Patrick Athuhairwe for the welterweight win! Also an 8 – round bout between Zarika Fatuma vs Asha Ndegere. In addition, there are five preliminary bouts hosting fighters from Kenya, South Africa, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and The USA. In special attendance Three-time 
heavyweight champion – Michael Moorer, Comedian TK Kirkland, International Boxing Referee Tony Weeks and Thomas “Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns: the first boxer in history to win world titles in four divisions and then become the first fighter in history to win 5 world titles in 5 divisions.

The Making of a Champ event is the first of three live events planned for February, March and May 2017.  Each event will be followed by a concert, with February 18th featuring R&B artist Carl Thomas from the United States.  

The Making of a Champ PPV event will be offered at a pre-order price of $5 and will be available to view anywhere in the world.

TVtibi has been available on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 for 18 months.  In that time it has been downloaded in over 160 countries.

NatureVision TV Joins TVtibi’s OTT Lineup

May 23, 2016     TVtibi, a global OTT provider that delivers services on an a la carte basis, has added NatureVision TV under several pricing options. 

Per TVtibi’s site, subs can buy access to NatureVision TV in HD for one day for 99 cents, seven days for $1.99, a month for $2.99, or a year for $29.95.
 

TVtibi is currently available on Windows 10, 8.1 and Windows RT, and expects to launch an app for iOS devices in June, and follow with a version for Android devices. 

TVtibi launched its a la carte  service in June. Other services currently on offer via its platform include My Jam TV, Britfox TV, Palm Beach Atlantic University Sports Channel, Newsy, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Sports Channel, The Children’s Reading Channel, and Pursuit Channel, among others.

“This partnership sends a message to NatureVision TV subscribers that they can watch our programming no matter where they are or what device they may be viewing on. February 03, 2016 -- New global distribution platform TVtibi is launching several new channels and videos, it was announced today by TVtibi President and CEO Matthew Beck. The company has finalized several distribution deals and is preparing both live and on-demand offerings for release.  

TVtibi is an emerging global over-the-top (OTT) service offering a variety of channels, shows, episodes, films, and other programming, both live and on-demand, direct to consumers. The service delivers a-la-carte pricing combined with free viewing options that consumers have long desired.  To date, the TVtibi Windows app has been downloaded in 90 countries.  

Among the channels launching globally are: Britrox TV, which showcases unsigned emerging and new artists; The Children’s Reading Channel, offering visually stimulating read-alongs; and ducktv, an educational channel for younger viewers.  

New content available globally includes a variety of films and television series from Leomark Studios, and micro-series and films from New Media Comedy.  

Newsy, delivering daily rotating news cycles, has launched in 5 countries to date: United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Australia.  

"We are extremely excited to announce the launch of our latest channels and content, increasing our available offerings to the over 240 countries and territories that we are available in for download," said Ready, Set, Sync!/TVtibi President and CEO Matthew Beck.

September 8, 2015 -- Wilmington NC  |  Backlight TV announced that it will inaugurate its new weekly series of D1, D2, and D3 football games on TVtibi with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks hosting the Bears of Kutztown University on Saturday September 12th. The pre-game show will start at 3:45pm with kick off scheduled for 4pm.

While the telecast of a college football game in September may not be huge news, the key element to this event is that it will be delivered to OTT video platforms. The game will be broadcast globally on TVtibi as well as other IP-based platforms. This means that consumers can watch this and future games on all devices including Windows 10 and 8.1 tablets and computers via TVtibi. This event will be accessible free of charge to the consumer.

“We have been planning this event for quite some time,” said Jack Pennington, principle for Innova TV Networks, the parent company for Backlight TV. “This is happening in advance of our launch of 2 new all sports networks, Rivals Sports Network and Rivals World Wide.” Pennington elaborated, “Rivals Sports Network will be a source of smaller D1 through 3 college sports viewing covering all types of sports. Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, swimming, tennis, field hockey, and wrestling will all be seen on Rivals.”

September 01, 2015 -- New global distribution platform TVtibi has named Andrew Goldman as its Chief Strategy Officer, it was announced today by TVtibi President and CEO Matthew Beck. The company created the new role for the respected entertainment industry insider, and Goldman will be overseeing the content acquisition and program strategy.  

TVtibi is an emerging global over-the-top (OTT) service offering a variety of channels, shows, episodes, films, and other programming, both live and on-demand, direct to consumers. The service delivers a-la-carte pricing that consumers have long desired.  To date, the TVtibi app has been downloaded in 38 countries.  

Goldman’s expertise is in crafting brand and industry strategies. He was most recently Vice President, Program Strategy and Planning at Home Box Office, Inc. where he was responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition and scheduling of programming for HBO/Cinemax’s 15 multiplex channels. In addition, he oversaw the development and management of new ventures and platforms, such as OTT and SVOD, and supervised HBO/Cinemax’s massive film library, including industry analysis and asset strategic management.  Goldman began his career as a screenplay analyst at Warner Bros., where he worked with various studio-based producers.

August 10, 2015 -- By: Jeff Baumgartner multichannel.com  |  HBO And Showtime may be leading the a la carte parade in the U.S., but a budding San Antonio-based service wants to take the model to the global stage by offering a variety of channels that can be purchased individually and delivered over-the-top. 

That service, called TVtibi, hit the market in beta form recently. It’s not targeting just the U.S., but developing a platform paired with content rights that will provide it with global reach.

“We’re trying to cherry-pick the best features of certain services and bring them all together,” Matthew Beck, founder of TVtibi, said. “With rare exception, all of our content is available globally.”

Though its content offering is still relatively small (seven live channels at last check, including two that aren’t available yet in the U.S. because Dish Network has the domestic rights), TVtibi has some big ambitions as it combines those offerings with a growing video-on-demand library.

Examples of its early a la carte offering include Classic Cool, offered through a content partner that provides titles to Turner Classic Movies. That service (live-plus-VOD) sells for $3.99 per week or $5.99 per month. Pursuit Channel, an offering focused on hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreational activities, costs $2.99 per month, $1.99 per week, or 99 cents for a day’s access.

Classic Cool “is kind of our test bed,” Beck said. They gave us carte blanche on how we present them.”

Customers can tap into TVtibi via a gift code or credit card (the service supports almost 60 unique currencies, ensuring that users don’t get hit with foreign transaction fees). The next step is to sell prepaid cards through such outlets as Amazon.

Beck said TVtibi (its parent is a company called Ready, Set, Sync!) is also in the process of closing deals with undisclosed traditional cable channels. Among that group, one is working with TVtibi to offer a linear channel with global distribution rights, Beck said, adding that others are looking to take advantage of the programming they have full global digital rights to (original shows, mostly) for virtual streaming channels.

TVtibi believes it is coming to market as digital distribution rights loosen up and content owners become more comfortable with selling services a la carte. “One thing that has limited our offering at launch is that we’re only taking channels a la carte.

That’s the entire basis of our platform,” Beck said. “But there will be a significant shift in who’s going a la carte over the next year to two. There are some significant deals in the works right now that will encourage other providers to take the plunge into a la carte.”

TVtibi isn’t releasing customer figures, but Beck said the most interest in the service is coming from consumers in Southeast Asia and North Africa looking for content developed in the U.S. About 20% of consumers who register for the service are downloading the app.

TVtibi launched exclusively on Windows 8.1 and Windows RT, which together support about 400 million devices worldwide. The service expects to introduce apps for iOS and Android by late summer/early fall.

TiVo has also expressed interest in porting TVtibi to its platform, Beck said, though it remains to be seen if it would come way of a resident app or offered via the Opera TV store.

TVtibi is interested in picking up cancelled shows and possibly partnering with broadcasters to distribute them in the U.S. and abroad, Beck said. He confirmed that he’s had talks with Gaumont International Television about picking up Hannibal, the Silence of the Lambs prequel that NBC ended after three seasons.

TVTIBI CONDUCTS FIRST LIVE BROADCAST03.03.2015

On February 28, 2015 Ready, Set, Sync!, in conjunction with Microsoft Store, conducted two live broadcasts as part of National Entrepreneurship Week.  This weekend we offered up our first live broadcasts in a demonstration for Microsoft.  Two events were delivered live, through the TVtibi video platform, to the Microsoft Store in San Antonio, Texas:  an introduction to Founders Space from San Francisco featuring some of their latest startup members; and a startup seminar we arranged at the Palo Alto Microsoft Store.

Viewers were treated to a seminar on crafting an elevator pitch for investors in the first broadcast, with the latest Founders Space startups taking the stage for the first time to try it out.  The second broadcast, by Fundavision, focused on how to launch a company and break even within 90 days.

Founders Space is a startup accelerator incubator with advisors, investors, venture capital, funding, angels & VCs in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
